More dynamic and with better results. Companies in the Veneto region’s agri-food sector are performing more strongly than their Friulian counterparts, which are on a smaller average scale and less focused on international markets. These are the most significant findings of the survey on the agri-food industry in Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia, commissioned by Credit Agricole FriulAdria and Community Media Research (CMR), and presented yesterday at VMitaly at the Prosecco DOC stand. The presentation of the data, led by Daniele Marini, was followed by a round-table discussion, moderated by TG5 journalist Cesara Buonamici, attended by the chairman of the Illy Group, Riccardo I I ly; the chairman of the Prosecco DOC Consortium, Stefano Zanette; the head of the Veneto industrialists’ association, Matteo Zoppas; and the vice-president of the San Daniele Ham Consortium, Stefano Fantinel.
