THE SURVEY – Sociologist Marini’s CMR research unit analyses how this demographic feels about a brand sought after worldwide: women and young people are more receptive
“Made in Italy”: we’re not keeping up with the times
We recognise values such as creativity and aesthetics in this ‘brand’, but we tend to overlook aspects that are essential to today’s market, such as technology and innovation
We are more ‘Made in…’ than outright supporters of ‘Made in Italy’, even though it is the brand that ‘represents a cornerstone of our economy’. For example, whilst we recognise its full value in terms of creativity and aesthetics, we find it very difficult to focus on other elements that are essential for today’s market, such as innovation and technology. And the surprising result of the new survey published by the CMR – Community Media Research laboratory, of which the Vicenza-based sociologist Daniele Marini is scientific director.
