With the passing of Maurizio Costanzo, we have lost one of the leading figures in journalism and in Italian culture as a whole. With Maurizio’s passing, we have lost an intellectual of the very highest calibre, one of the geniuses who have shaped our country’s recent history.
Maurizio was also a friend to me, whom I remember with great affection and deep respect: a man of above-average intelligence, intuition and unique abilities. It was through him that I entered the world of communications; together we founded Community, and thanks to that I was able to begin writing my own story as an entrepreneur.
I will always remember Maurizio for his sense of humour and his ability to truly see people for who they are. My thoughts are with his family, to whom I extend my deepest sympathies on this sad day.
