Community is proud to stand alongside “Never Give Up”, an initiative promoted by the LAPS Foundation – a charity founded by Lapo Elkann – which aims to support the most prestigious organisation in the third sector, the Italian Red Cross, which is currently working throughout Italy to support the most vulnerable during the difficult Covid-19 health crisis.
During this time of crisis, it is essential that we take concrete action to support those who, more than anyone else, are facing unprecedented economic and social hardship. For this reason, Lapo Elkann has put his creative spirit, his passion, his generosity and his team at the service of those currently facing the greatest difficulties by launching a fundraising campaign.
The project concept was taken up and immediately supported by figures from the worlds of sport, music, the arts and culture who, in various ways, wish to emphasise their solidarity with Italy, a country so severely affected by the aggression and unpredictability of the current situation.
The friends who have joined this solidarity campaign are: Gianluigi Buffon, Alessandro Del Piero, Fedez, Valeria Golino, Papu Gómez, Charles Leclerc, Giovanni Malagó, Paolo Maldini, Federica Pellegrini, Cristiano Ronaldo, Giuliano Sangiorgi, Giovanni Soldini, Bebe Vio, Alessandro Zanardi and Javier Zanetti.
The fundraising campaign, which you can take part in from 10 April by making a donation – however small – on the website http://nevergiveup.tinaba.it/ In particular, it provides that the proceeds are to be donated to the Italian Red Cross for the distribution of meal vouchers to the most needy families and to provide assistance to vulnerable people or those in financial difficulty.
