Federmeccanica is standing firm and working on the implementation of the agreement signed a year ago. Community Media Research has carried out a survey on corporate welfare on behalf of the trade association representing mechanical engineering firms. 160 employees were interviewed. The presentation of the results yesterday was also attended by CNEL President Tiziano Treu and Marco Leonardi, economic adviser to Palazzo Chigi. The aim of the study was to monitor perceptions of the welfare provided by companies, now that the agreement provides for 100 euros of ‘benefits in kind’ for this year, 150 in 2018 and 200 in 2019. As early as last July, when the interviews were conducted, welfare schemes were in place in 54.2 per cent of companies.
