Trade Union Diary – The CGIL launches an online community for Work 4.0
An online community of one hundred people, including trade unionists, university lecturers, researchers and entrepreneurs, to discuss Industry 4.0 – the industrial revolution brought about by the latest technological developments: from robotics to remote working to cybernetics. This is the ‘Idea diffusa’ platform, which the CGIL is launching on Wednesday at a venue that has not been chosen at random: Luiss EnLabs, the start-up incubator opened in 2016 by the Confindustria university at Rome’s Termini station. “Idea diffusa,” explains Chiara Mancini, the project coordinator, “is a collaborative online platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences in a secure environment, whilst maintaining a high standard of discussion and debate.”
