Fewer forms and documents, to be submitted at a single counter, with just a few clear rules to follow. This is the public administration that businesses in Treviso have been dreaming of. To make this a reality, Unindustria Treviso will today, at its general meeting, propose a new alliance, which it will also put forward to Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, the guest of honour at the meeting. During the lengthy preparatory process, the employers\u2019 association analysed its members\u2019 dealings with the public sector through a bespoke survey commissioned from Community Media Research. There are two priorities that are of particular concern: streamlining procedures and reducing the number of documents (cited by 78.4 per cent of the sample) and the unification or integration of offices (53.5 per cent). Much remains to be done. So much so that Daniele Marini, who led the study, sums up businesses\u2019 feelings towards bureaucracy in three words: burden, slowness and opacity.<\/p>\n
