The elderly, on the other hand, are the most enthusiastic: \u201cThey improve our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ours is a highly \u2018permeable\u2019 society, as well as a \u2018liquid\u2019 one, to use the well-known concept introduced by Bauman.
