According to a survey by Federmeccanica, there is a significant shift in job profiles within factories<\/p>\n<p>Workers more involved in the company<\/p>\n<p>Between meetings and teamwork, blue-collar workers have more say in decision-making<\/p>\n<p>They take part in \u201cregular meetings with management\u201d; they use \u201chigh-tech tools\u201d; they work \u201cin teams, developing a range of skills\u201d; and, when necessary, \u201cthey also make decisions independently\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Not only that: \u2018job security\u2019 (such as that in the public sector) or \u2018tenure\u2019 are no longer \u2018dogmas\u2019 amongst \u2018blue-collar\u2019 workers, particularly young people with medium-to-high educational qualifications: the concept of a \u2018permanent job\u2019 is being replaced by a preference for \u2018career development and vocational training\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.communitymediaresearch.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Sole24Ore-p.1114.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Continue reading<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Monitor.
