A survey by sociologist Marini: \u2018Now, more than a permanent job, employees are asking to be able to progress in their careers\u2019<\/p>\n
This is perhaps the first time that industrial leaders have commissioned a survey to find out not only what their members think, but also what the workers themselves think. And it is this new development that the Vicenza-based sociologist Daniele Marini, scientific director of Community Media Research, briefly presented yesterday with the survey \u2018Relationships within the company \u2013 A study among entrepreneurs and workers in the North-East\u2019. There is an identification between business and work: \u2018They become overlapping concepts,\u2019 explains Marini, who has coined the term \u2018lav-impresa\u2019 for this purpose and shows in his slides how business is considered \u2018an asset to the community\u2019 by 95.3 per cent of entrepreneurs and 92 per cent of workers, and how collaboration between workers and entrepreneurs is seen as desirable by 76 per cent of industrialists and 56 per cent of employees.<\/p>\n
